इसी नज़रिए से प्रभावित हो कर ग़ालिब ने ये ख़याल बाँधा है। शे’र की व्याख्या करने से पहले ये जानना ज़रूरी है कि ख़ुदा की ज़ात सबसे पुरानी है। यानी जब दुनिया में कुछ नहीं था तब भी ख़ुदा की ज़ात मौजूद थी और ख़ुदा की ज़ात हमेशा रहने वाली है। अर्थात जब कुछ भी न होगा तब ख़ुदा की ज़ात मौजूद रहेगी। यहाँ तात्पर्य क़यामत से है जब अल्लाह के हुक्म से सारे प्राणी ख़त्म हो जाएंगे और अल्लाह सर्वशक्तिमान अकेला व तन्हा मौजूद रहेगा।

सिर्फ सितारे छूने के लिए कभी जमी ना छोड़ना ।
